I was so freaking worried about that conversation. My deal with this story is that I want it to be real things that real people would say and I was feeling like it wasn't developed enough or done enough. I'm my worst critic though =/ So I'm so happy you liked it and found it to be realistic.
The whole meandering thing is so true. I feel like that's what most of us do, meander through our lives and eventually we settle because we get scared. Life needs a manual.
