Yes, it's back! And oh my god! How do you write so well, girl? Every word, every sentence was just perfection. The whole atmosphere of this story and this chapter especially was sort of detached from the real word, if that makes sense. It was like seeing Matthew and Dominic's own little world through Ellen's eyes.
"It's more than that, really. I need him. And what you saw today, I just can't apologize for it the way you think I should. I'm sorry we crossed the line that way, I'm sorry you had to see it like that, but I will never apologize for wanting him. I just won't and there is nothing you can do or say to make me feel as though I should."
I adored every word Matthew and Dominic spoke to Ellen. It was just out of the world. But that was my most favourite of them all. They run so deep and the intimacy they share just by sitting next to each other is just surreal. And I'm so glad Ellen sees what it is. Something like that can never be broken even if someone wants to.
The sense of loneliness that she feels is so profound. Those last few lines broke my heart. I really do hope Ellen finds solace and a new friend in Matthew or Dominic.
