The thing about Matt is that he just doesn't like bullshit. He wants you to work for what you want and what you think you deserve because you can't be spoonfed. Science is his lover (at the moment heee) and he wants it to be respected.
He knows he's smart. But he doesn't realize that he's spent so much time learning knowledge that his personality has suffered. He'll get kicked into shape soon :D
